Enterprise Recon v2.0.28 (December 2018) introduced a number of new technologies to the Master Server Appliance. This article explains how to determine which technologies are in use on a particular installation.
Enterprise Recon v2.0.28 introduces a new and more modern database format. The existing (legacy) format will remain supported by Ground Labs for the foreseeable future. You can determine which version of database is in use on your Master Server by logging into the console and executing the following command:
If a directory called root.rdb is present then the new format is in use. If it is not present and root.kct is present, then the legacy format is in use.
Ground Labs intends to offer an in-place migration to the newer format in a future release of Enterprise Recon. Customers who wish to pre-emptively migrate should contact our team for assistance.
Standard installations of Enterprise Recon may run on either CentOS 6.x or CentOS 7.x. You can determine which version of CentOS is in use on your Master Server by logging into the console and executing the following command:
Ground Labs will continue to support installations based on CentOS 6.x until the End of Life Date of November 30th, 2020. Customers who wish to migrate to CentOS 7.x should contact our team for assistance.
