While trying to perform a online update for the Master Server, the User encounters an error message saying that the 'Groundlabs.repo' file is missing.
Follow these steps on your Master Server Terminal console:
- Firstly, try to install repolist;
yum repolist all
- Check the contents of /etc/yum.repos.d;
ls -a /etc/yum.repos.d
.. it should display the following files
- If 'GroundLabs.repo' is indeed missing, you can create it with the command; cat > GroundLabs.repo
Fill in the contents with:
comment="Ground Labs Update Server"
(Enter, CTRL + D to denote end of file)
- Ensure the permissions are correct (644) on the file and that it's owned by root:root;
ls -l Groundlabs.repo
.. if the permissions need to be changed, use the command;
chmod 644 GroundLabs.repo
- Enter commands;
yum-config-manager --enable GroundLabs
- Try updating again;
yum update er2-master
